A thick sheet of snow has covered Uttarakhand's Badrinath. Due to the intense cold waves, the Shesh Netra lake has partially frozen. The portals of Badrinath Temple - dedicated to Lord Vishnu - have been shut since November in the winter season. (Credit: ANI)
