Day 13: Race To Rescue Workers Trapped In Uttarakhand Tunnel, Other Top Stories
Only eight to 10 metres of drilling is left for rescuers to reach the 41 construction workers trapped inside the tunnel in Uttarakhand, officials said. It's been 13 days, but authorities are not giving any timeframe as unexpected hurdles keep delaying the work. The ground penetrating radar revealed that there are likely to be no major metal obstacles for the next five metres and if all goes well, pushing in two more pipes may be enough to reach the labourers and other top stories.
