The gap between two doses of the Covishield COVID-19 vaccine can be increased to 12-16 weeks, a government panel recommended Thursday, according to a report by news agency PTI. Karnataka Health Minster Dr Ashwath-narayan tweeted today, "Today, the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (NTAGI), the advisory group on #COVID19 vaccines, recommends increasing the gap between 2 doses of #Covishield to 12-16 weeks.".
