The Executive Director of SII, Dr Suresh Jadhav speaks to NDTV and says, "their relationship with Oxford Institute is over 5 years old and that they are familiar with top scientists of the university." Speaking about the Covid-19 vaccine tie-up, Mr Jadhav says, "The Oxford Covid-19 vaccine was ready by March-end and that Oxford University wanted SII's help in mass production of their vaccines."
