Vaccines For Children: Trials Underway
The hunt is on for an anti-Covid vaccine for children in India. Clinical trials for Covaxin jab have started already for the 12-18 age group. Zydus Cadila too has joined the race. One of the sites for the trials is the Institute of Child Health in Kolkata. Experts here believe that children are at a greater risk of infection during the possible third wave because they are totally unprotected against the virus.
