Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has written to the Haryana governor against the state-appointed Justice Dhingra Commission looking into dubious land deals in Haryana involving Robert Vadra and his company Skylight Hospitality asking that it should be scrapped and its report invalidated. The Congress has alleged that Justice Dhingra has received favours from the Khattar government in the course of the last year. And Robert Vadra has in a post on Facebook accused the BJP of political vendetta. In the middle of all this, the state's prominent INLD has charged both the Congress and BJP of colluding to ensure nothing comes of the probe. But several questions arise: why has the Congress woken up to the Commission now, on the eve of the submission of the report? And why when Justice Dhingra had gone on record to say the report was complete has he now asked for more time?
