In a shocking incident in Vancouver, 9 people were killed when a vehicle drove into crowd at Filipino festival on April 26 evening. Taking to 'X' Canadian police confirmed the death toll at last night's Lapu Lapu Festival in Canada's Vancouver. The incident occurred around 8 pm just near East 41st Avenue and Fraser Street, during Lapu-Lapu Day Block Party honouring a Philippine national hero. Heavy police were deployed after the accident and the road at the site of the incident were cordoned off. Earlier Police informed that the driver, 30-year-old Vancouver man, was taken into custody. In a post on 'X', Vancouver police have also informed that they are 'confident' that the incident was "not an act of terrorism..."
