Varanasi counters darkness with light
In Varanasi a day after the blast in which 9 people were killed, there prevails a sense of unity and recognition of the need to carry on with life. A day after the deadly noise, the morning calm here is uneasy. But as the day picked up pace, Varanasi got on its feet quickly and a bandh called by the opposition had no effect.
