VHP endorses Narendra Modi, says he is a 'mascot of Hindutva'
At a meeting at the Kumbh mela in Allahabad, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad or VHP has endorsed Narendra Modi for Prime Minister.
Describing the controversial chief minister of Gujarat as "a mascot of Hindutva," the VHP praised Mr Modi for being able to win Muslim constituencies in the recent Gujarat elections without fielding a single Muslim candidate.
