VHP workers protest against Narendra Modi
Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi is facing criticism from the saffron brigade, an unusual event, in a state considered to be an ideological laboratory of the Sangh Parivar. The rift in the Sangh Parivar continues to grow deeper in Gujarat, this time over the arrest of parishad secretary, Ashwin Patel on sedition charges. Patel was arrested for an alleged SMS campaign against the Modi government. That resulted in a backlash against Modi, with parishad members courting arrest on Monday.
