Indian American author Nish Amarnath's novel Victims for Sale is making a splash. A crime thriller, it touches the subject of disabled women pushed into sex racket and honour crimes against women. Though set in the backdrop of London, the story strikes a chord with Indian readers. It also addresses the challenges and risks women journalists undertake. Born in Delhi, Nish grew up across Kolkata, Bangalore and Nigeria before her family made Chennai their home. Now she's based in New York.
