"Victory Of Development Politics": BJP MP On Party's Northeast Performance
BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Prakash Javadekar said that his party's performance in the three northeastern states is a "victory of development". "This is a victory of performance, victory of faith of people and victory of vote for progress," he said. The BJP and its allies look set to win Tripura and Nagaland. Meghalaya appears set for a hung assembly, with the BJP's former ally, Conrad Sangma's party NPP, leading the field.
