Tata Chemicals’ arm buys UK's British Salt for Rs 673 cr

Tata Namak's footprint in the United Kingdom just got bigger. Tata Chemicals' UK subsidiary Brunner Mond has signed a deal to acquire British Salt, which has 50 per cent market share in the UK. The company hopes to close the deal, valued at Rs 657-crore by end-this month.
