‘Amanat' stable after being admitted to Singapore hospital: Govt

23-year-old Amanat (NOT her real name) is stable after being admitted to a hospital in Singapore, said Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad. Amanat left India last night on a highly-specialized air ambulance accompanied by a team of doctors and her parents. The student was raped by six men, and battered with an iron rod on a moving bus in Delhi during the assault of monstrous proportions earlier this month.
