Just about every great chef across India and the world will credit their mother’s kitchen for being both the inspiration and the guiding force. Which of course then begs the question in the competitive cooking scene: where are the great female restaurateurs and chefs? There are a few, not nearly as many as there should be, but enough for us to be going on with - trying new things, forging new paths, cracking that glass ceiling.
