Dr Sugata Bhattacharjee, a co-passenger on the Air India New York-Delhi flight where an inebriated passenger urinated on a woman, gave his detailed eyewitness account to NDTV. After accused Shankar Mishra realised his mistake and reached a "settlement" with the victim, he told Dr Bhattacharjee that "he had a long day and wanted a good night's sleep". Dr Bhattacharjee told NDTV that he had initially alerted the cabin crew about the passenger, who seemed unable to handle his drink.
