Amid an acute water crisis, villagers in Maharashtra's Khokarvihir village are struggling to meet their daily requirements of water. They were seen hurling their plastic and metal cans, buckets and bottles strung with ropes down a deep well to fetch water. Women are forced to travel arduous stretches of 2-3 km every day to fetch water.
