Violence in Jaipur over Haj House
There were violent clashes in Jaipur's Sanganer area as the Vasundhara government went ahead with the foundation laying ceremony of a Haj House in Jaipur. The VHP and the Bajrang Dal have opposed the setting up of the Haj House on the grounds that it is coming up in a predominantly Hindu area, and the government has acquired five bighas of pastureland for the purpose.
