"Violence Is Now Normalised": Protests At Oxford Against Citizenship Act

The protests against the Citizenship Act have extended to leading universities beyond India. At Oxford University, activist and author Gurmehar Kaur was at the centre of protests over the attacks on Jamia University students in Delhi on Sunday. They have issued a solidarity statement in which they have said, "We watch with extreme concern the events unfolding in India and we lend our unconditional support for the students and others peacefully taking to the streets to fight injustice."
