Violence Mars West Bengal Panchayat Polls
Panchayat elections in West Bengal have seen terrible violence with at least 20 people dead and many injured. This as fresh polling took place today in nearly 700 polling booths across 19 districts of the state. The panchayat election held Saturday was marred by widespread violence, resulting in the deaths of political workers, looting of ballot boxes, and destruction of ballot papers.
