Vlog: Maharashtra Villagers Cross River Daily On Thermocol-Plywood Rafts, Risking Lives
Locals have been demanding a bridge on Penganga river for over 30 years in Maharashtra's Nanded. They have received assurances from almost every politician but nothing has changed. They use a temporary boat made by thermocol and wooden ply to travel from one part to other side. They also carry bikes via this. If they want to travel via road, they will have to travel for more than 40 km to go on the other side which will cost time and money.
