A day after 30 people died and 60 others sustained injuries in a pre-dawn stampede at the Sangam area of the Maha Kumbh in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj, the state government has introduced strict measures to prevent further incidents. The administration has implemented five major changes, including declaring the entire fair area a No-Vehicle Zone. The tragedy occurred on Wednesday as millions of pilgrims attempted to reach the waters for a sacred dip on Mauni Amavasya, one of the most auspicious days of the Kumbh Mela.
