'VVIP' Viral Hate: 4 Days, No Arrests
It's been four days since videos of hate speeches by two BJP leaders - one an MP, the other an MLA - at a public event right in Delhi went viral. There has been no action against these VIP haters: no FIR, no questioning, no arrests. All the police have done is book the organisers, not for hate, but for holding the rally without permission. Overall, the comments by the MP Parvesh Verma and the MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar only add to a VIP hate wave that has surged since the Modi government has come to power.
