With superhit films like Munnabhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munnabhai, 3 Idiots and recently PK under his kitty, noted filmmaker and writer Rajkumar Hirani gets nostalgic in this week's episode of Walk The Talk. He reminisces that it was his father's vision to let him take up the profession of filmmaking. He is one of the few directors who has been an editor and he edits his own films and Raju Hirani says that editing was a blessing in disguise. He makes a revelation that Sanjay Dutt wasn't the first choice for the lead role of Munnabhai series of films. He notes that he likes to reflect on the society in his films which is why chose to go ahead the scripts of 3 Idiots and PK, although it isn't his intention he does like to take "panga" with the society by showing it a mirror, his films. He reflects that most of the ideas/scripts for his films blossomed through his personal experiences like how he found doctors to be dispassionate and was compelled to make Munnabhai MBBS.
