"I am proud of my Indian roots," says US Ambassador to India Richard Verma. In this very candid Walk The Talk set under the backdrop of the Roosevelt House, Mr Verma speaks very positively of the Indo-US ties and about the civilian nuclear deal. He says he was very happy that India and Pakistan have started to talk at all possible levels. Mr Verma spoke very optimistically that if all countries work together than we can save the environment and world will be once again a better place to live. He ends on a lighter note by saying that the next time he meets Shekhar Gupta for another interview he will sharpen his Hindi speaking skills.
