Waqf Bill Feedback Row: BJP MP Nishikant Dubey Alleges Conspiracy Behind JPC Feedback
BJP MP and Joint Parliamentary Committee member Nishikant Dubey raised questions over the deluge of responses received by the parliamentary committee scrutinising the Waqf Amendment Bill 2024. Writing to Chairman Jagdambika Pal, Mr Dubey sought a probe into the possible involvement of fundamentalists and foreign entities flooding the Committee with feedback. This is just a day before the Parliamentary Committee sets out on a five-state feedback-gathering drive. The Congress responded terming Nishikant's comment as a mockery of democracy.
