Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman attended Interaction Programme with intellectuals organised by Thinkers Forum in Karnataka's Bengaluru on April 23. During the event, she said that the war happening in Europe has 'global repercussions'.Addressing the event, she said, "Since February 2022, we have a war happening in Europe. Trade in the global market came under severe stress. It may be a war happening in Europe but it had 'global repercussions'. Western economies took a certain formula to deal with the 'stressed economy situation', but that method proved to be hurtful for their economy as an after-effect."
