"Was Told You Are One Of Us' : Karnataka Student Who Removed Hijab
The Karnataka High Court's verdict upholding the state government's ban on hijab in classrooms has left many Muslim girl students without a choice but to remove their hijabs. NDTV's Sreeja spoke to one of the hijab wearing students and she tells us that it was the first time in three she had to remove her hijab because of the verdict. And when she did, one of her classmates told her and I quote 'You are one of us'.
