"Wasn't Scared; Girls No Less Than Boys": Teen Who Fought With Snatchers

A 15-year-old girl fought with two bike -borne snatchers to take back her mobile phone near Jalandhar-Kapurthala road on Monday. The entire incident was captured on a security camera. The girl - Kusum Kumari - was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon. But she managed to catch hold of a snatcher. She fought with the two men for a few minutes after which some people rescued her and caught them.

Kusum Kumari told NDTV from her hospital bed that "girls are no less than boys".
