Watch: Dangling From Chopper, Rescuer Helps Flood Victims In Gujarat
Heavy rains have left several parts of Gujarat submerged in water. More than 200 people who were stranded in the floods have been rescued by National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), the Air Force and other agencies. Over 6,000 people from low-lying areas have been shifted to safe locations by the state administration. A dramatic video shows a rescuer being lowered from the chopper to reach the house where people are seen standing on the roof of the building that is surrounded by flood water. The Met department has warned of heavy rains for the next 48 hours in the state.
