Watch: Doordarshan Airs RSS Chief's Speech - National Broadcaster Being Misused?
For the first time, Doordarshan cut live to a one hour and 10 minute long speech by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur. It was Mr Bhagwat's annual Dussehra address shortly before Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a fortnightly radio address to the public.
