Watch 'Inspire India' To See How Mothers Of Bride And Groom Organize No-Plastic Wedding In Bengaluru
Anupama Harish and Charulatha Ramaswamy, mothers of the groom and the bride, decided to go plastic-free for their children's wedding. From reusable cutlery, butter paper to wrap gifts, banana leaves to serve food that later was used as fodder for cows and no plastic decoration, every care was taken to avoid plastic waste. They were supported by SWMRT, Bengaluru, a citizen group known for its waste management work.
