Celebrations to ring in the New Year have begun around the globe. As the countdown began, mesmerising fireworks and light show enthralled citizens in New Zealand to usher in 2023. New Zealand is one of the first places in the world to ring in a New Year. The Auckland Harbour Bridge, Sky Tower and Auckland War Memorial Museum were lit up with a full light show. Like New Zealand, Australia is also welcoming 2023 with spectacular show of colour, light and music. Australia is celebrating its first restriction-free New Year's Eve after two years of COVID disruptions. New Year's Eve revellers are witnessing light and fireworks show at Sydney's harbour front.
