Votes are still being counted in six key states that could swing the bitterly contested US election to Republican incumbent Donald Trump or Democrat Joe Biden. Mr Trump, who had been claiming that mail-in votes would result in an election fraud, claimed he already won, and the counting should be stopped. He threatened to approach Supreme Court, indicating that anything less than a win would not be acceptable to him.
