Former minister in the NDA government, Arun Shourie, is likely to get a top position in Narendra Modi's cabinet. In an exclusive interview, he talks about the priorities and challenges of the new government at the Centre. He tells NDTV that the role of the RSS is not to interfere in government formation but to keep a hawk's eye on the conduct of ministers and MLAs. On who will be inducted in Mr Modi's cabinet, Mr Shourie says, "No one but Modi knows that and he will not fail to surprise." Mr Shourie also agrees with noted economist Jagdish Bhagwati on RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan. He says that Mr Rajan should not be replaced as he is a professional trying his best.
