Watch: Two Million Homeless in Iraq - United Nations to NDTV
Nearly a million people have fled their homes in Iraq since the militant offensive began in the country, according to the United Nations. Speaking to NDTV, Jane Pearce, the Country Director of the UN World Food Programme said that the number of those displaced is in addition to the almost a million who have been rendered homeless due to the conflicts between the Shias and Sunnis over the last few years.
