In an exclusive interview, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah suggests that separatists are provoking the crowds to pelt stones and attack rescue workers. He tells NDTV, "Usual elements are fishing in troubled waters and provoking people". On the criticism that his government is missing in action while armed forces are carrying out rescue operations, he says he didn't have a functioning government for the first 24 hours as all offices were flooded and phone lines were down. The chief minister also says he is not here for the credit game and is very happy if all the credit is given to the armed forces.
