One of the devastating fallouts of the pandemic has been a setback to the fight against global inequality. Pandemics should be the great equaliser as infectious diseases don't differentiate between nationality, race, class and creed. However, Covid-19 has been increasing global inequality. Will this only get worse - if and when - a vaccine for the coronavirus is found? Will the world be divided between "haves and have nots"?
