Indira Nooyi, Former CEO, PepsiCo highlighted the importance of conserving the environment at the 12-hour #SwasthyaMantra telethon. She said that the environment is at the core of the COVID discussion and that people need to stop mistreating animals. She also raised the issue of the lack of availability of clean water in various parts of the world, even when washing hands with water is considered as the biggest defense against COVID-19.
