"We Have Won Our Independence, Freedom Is A Much Bigger Thing": Journalist P Sainath

Discussing the foot soldiers who were part of the Independence movement, journalist P Sainath says, "They (foot soldiers) always corrected me. They tell me that we fought for two things - freedom and independence, we achieved independence. Everyone one of them is saying, in different ways that freedom is a much bigger thing." He further points out that the current generation will never get to know the people who brought them independence.
