A day after the NCP pulled out from its alliance with the Congress in Maharashtra, senior NCP leader Praful Patel told NDTV in an exclusive interview that it was absurd to suggest that his party has a secret deal with the BJP. He said that the NCP knew that the Congress was in decline even before the Lok Sabha elections, but still chose to go with the UPA.
