We lost the battle to retain Tata: Buddha
After its decision to pull out of Singur, Tata Motors is in overdrive to finalise a new site for small car Nano. Meanwhile, in West Bengal, Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee admitted he had lost the battle to retain Tata. However, Union External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee, who was also present at the same function as Buddha, said, "Only barren land should have been given to the Tatas."
