"We Resettled 40,000 Bru Reang Refugees": Amit Shah In Tripura

At the inauguration of key cooperative initiatives in Tripura's capital Agartala, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the previous government did not care about Bru Reang refugees. "Earlier, there was a government which was known as the government of tribals, poor and marginalised people, but that government never cared about the Bru Reang refugees. The BJP government was formed here (in Tripura) in 2018 and Narendra Modi ji became prime minister for a second time in 2019. In 2020, the BJP did the complete arrangement of rehabilitation of these refugees," Mr Shah said.
