From June 21, India will shift to a centralised procurement and supply of Covid vaccines, which means all the three available vaccines will be free for everyone above the age of 18 years. In the last one month, many states have struggled to procure vaccines despite many of them floating global tenders. Now, the Centre will buy and give the jabs to the states free of cost. After a few months of a slowdown in its vaccination drive, India is now rebooting.
