'We Trained The Local Youth From The Community In Health Education'

Highlighting the importance of involving the local community in spreading awareness about health and healthcare services, Dr Dhananjay Sagdeo, Chief Medical Officer, Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission, in Wayanad, Kerala, said that earning the confidence of tribal communities is essential. So his efforts in Wayanad have been to provide health education to local youth from the community who now serve as advisors and serve as the bridge between others and the tribal community.
