"We Went Through Hell": Election Strategist Prashant Kishor On Bengal Election Results
As early trends gave the Trinamool Congress a lead over the BJP in the counting of votes for Bengal elections, ace election strategist Prashant Kishor said these polls were more challenging than most. He said unprecedented religious polarization was a big factor, asserting that "the bogey of communalism" can only go so far. "We went through hell. The Election Commission was blatantly partial and made our campaign difficult," he said.
