Weak consumer sentiment to hit festive season demand: Whirlpool
Consumer sentiment remains weak as reflected in the IIP data. Shantanu Dasgupta, Vice President-Corporate Affairs and Strategy, Whirlpool says that the festive season may remain muted this year too. He does expect some pick up in demand in the festive months but does not see a sharp revival unless the government takes measures to revive sentiment.
