Weavers Behind World Famous "Kani Shawl" Say Money Not Worth the Effort

Kani shawls, made of cashmere wool locally known as pashmina, is spun on handlooms using wooden needles. Depending on the complexity and intricacy of the design, a Kani shawl can take anywhere between three months to three years to be completed.
