"Well Thought": Netaji's Family On Move For Statue At India Gate

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's nephew Ardhendu Bose hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement of installing Bose's statue at India Gate. Speaking to ANI, Ardhendu Bose on January 21 said, "It's magnificent and very well thought of because on that canopy there was a statue of King George V till 1960. Since then it has been empty. I guess after a lot of thought the PM has taken a decision to place Netaji's statue there. It's a tremendous amount of importance that he's giving to the memory of Netaji which means a lot - that the Government thinks a lot about Netaji. What I feel is that what PM Modi has done is an absolutely brilliant move for the memory of Netaji, the family is very happy." (Video Credit: ANI)
