Unprecedented flooding has been witnessed in Hyderabad after extremely heavy intense rains over few hours, the highest in a 24-hour period. But the disaster it brought cannot be blamed simply on the weather phenomenon but on larger factors like mindless construction, corruption and illegal encroachments.
